A recent shot I did with a couple I know made me think back to a shoot I did with them about a year ago…
Around this time last year I was halfway through the first semester of my final year of college at Kendall College of Art and Design. As part of that final year I had yet to take Studio Photo. I was lucky enough to get to take that class with a fellow classmate and friend, Justine Gunneson. Together we were able to work on many projects together, the following photos being one of them.
For the assignment we were to create a dynamic story while practicing using a large format camera, color film and a strobe system. Together we came up with a play on Alice in Wonderland, focusing mainly on the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Our models were a couple I am proud to call friends, Hillary and John. Both were amazing sports in the shoot seeing as the weather was not at all the 80 degree weather we have been having recently.
